What is Occupational Health?
One's occupational health is something many take for granted and may not think about nearly ever. A daily occupation includes 7 areas of performance: Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs), sleep, play, leisure, work/education, social participation, and a newly added Health management. Each area encompasses one or more piece of our lives that we can often given little thought to, but for those with disabilities these everyday activities can be very taxing.
